Fujifilm FinePix XP170
The Japan company FujiFilm introduces the newest FinePix XP170 camera now gives shutterbugs the choice of wireless connectivity. It has 14-megapixel CMOS sensor, XP170 sports a 5x optical zoom lens (28mm to 140mm) and is capable of a speedy 10fps in burst-mode shooting. It is fully waterproof device to depths of 10m, freeze proof to -10 degrees Celsius, shockproof to 2m and dustproof.

The XP170 includes a new Wireless Image Transfer function which permits users to wirelessly connect to iOS- and Android-based devices (smart phones and tablets) using the free Fujifilm Photo Receiver app. This feature is useful to users who don't like to bring too many memory cards or go through the hassle of physically backing up images to a computer.

Actually, we liked the performance of an LED illuminator on the camera's front as it allowed for more evenly exposed subjects when capturing close-ups, compared with the harsh lighting associated with using the inbuilt flash.

Although the XP170 has wireless connectivity feature, it lacks GPS capabilities and gesture control. Because this gesture control feature have in Olympus Tough TG-1 and Nikon Coolpix AW100. This feature allows shutterbugs with gloves on to make camera selections without pressing any buttons.
