It's time to smash out the music collection.
Mix tapes are the go to gift when you really don't know what else to make, but
that doesn't mean they can't be enjoyment, interesting, or well conventional.
Mix tapes can be a variety of different
things:
1. A compilation of songs that you have reminiscences
with. From road trips to late night dance parties with friends, these are the
best when both you and the receiver have a strong connection or memory to.
2. A mix of songs that you believe they have
never heard, but would enjoy. These are the most hard to make because it's hard
to know if they will like the song and if they have heard it facing.
3. You can tell a narrative. Place all of the
songs in a exact order so that they tell a story. These are fun if they tell
the story of how you met or your companionship/relationship. It's characteristically
easiest to craft a "story" out of the chorus or song titles.
Sometimes it's helpful to comprise a card with some hints about the idea and
what you are annoying to say.
No matter what you choose to do, mix tapes can
be an amusing way to give a gift. Just don't overlook to dress it up a bit. You
can create a CD case out of cardboard or some cardstock. You can also beautify
the CD itself with markers or a printed out cover.
