The 2012 version comes
with some improvements: new Bafang motor, Velo Plus saddle, full chain guard,
comfort grip brake handles, twist grip gear shift replaced by thumb operated
type.
A very effectual folding
electric bike. It has front fork postponement for smoothing out the bumps along
your route; high quality front and rear LED lights, multifunction LCD console,
6-speed gears, a 10Ah Lithium ion battery pack and highly competent brushless
hub motor.
Of all the folding emotional
bikes we've seen over the years, this is undoubtedly the best equipped. It's
rare to see an LCD control panel on electric bikes costing twice the price, but
the unit fixed here lets you switch between support modes (three power levels,
and automatic function and full twist-and-go control via the throttle). It also
gives readout of your speed and battery level.
Our first test ride
around the streets of Richmond was very good certainly. We had been waiting for
this bike to arrive for months and were enthusiastic to take it up the local
hills, over the speed bumps in the housing streets behind and along the busy
high street. It was swift, quiet, contented and easy to ride.
